Netflix Mood


At the second semester or my Interaction Design Master’s Program in Estonian Academy of Arts (2018), my task was to redesign an existing app for our Emotional Design project to make it more pleasant for users. I have chosen Netflix app to work on.  My goal was to improve the search function in a visual way so that users can find the right content in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Netflix mood is a concept where the app suggests content to users, based on their time, audience and mood. Users can define the time they got to spend on Netflix by the visualization of popcorn, select the amount of audience and select their mood via colors.
