ProxDot, making sound tangible

Snapshot From the Prototype Video

ProxDot is an interactive pin created as a result of an experimental Tangible Design at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2018. As a team of people; we were inspired by the fact that personal space is much bigger in Estonia compared to our home countries. We have chosen sonic interactions as output and proximity as input for Arduino. So, our bodies become the instrument that would produce sound via e-pins. Design concept was created by Nesli Hazal Oktay, Maret Ringmäe and Michael A. Fowler.
