By creating a reflective experience of imagining through the body in movement, the probes look into what could interaction design’s role be in working with empathy. The probes exemplify how experiential knowledge of tangibles can be used to embody feeling and thinking in action and ask: In which ways design placebos as body triggers could extend digital natives’ sense of empathy during videotelephony? The probes were exhibited in Disainiöö 2021 in Tallinn, Estonia and presented at Bilbao, Spain during the Design Research Society conference in 2022.
